Sina & Andreas: A Two-Day Wedding at Schlosspark Mauerbach, Austria

A garden ceremony, a church wedding and a party with Ollie Gabriel

After eleven years together and two children, Maxim and Levi, Sina and Andreas celebrated their wedding over two days at Schlosspark Mauerbach and the parish church of Sieghartskirchen.

For PULS 4 presenter Andreas Seidl and event professional Sina Schmid, the weekend brought together an intimate family celebration and a much larger party. My team and I joined them to photograph and film both days, from their vows in the garden to the final hours on the dance floor.

Day One: A Garden Ceremony and a Bob Ride

The first day centred on their closest family. In the garden of Schlosspark Mauerbach, Sina and Andreas exchanged vows with their children playing a special part in the occasion. Sunshine, the greenery of the park and carefully chosen decorations framed the ceremony.

Beginning the wedding this way gave their family time together before the larger celebration. Maxim and Levi were part of the story as their parents made their commitment to one another.

After the ceremony, the couple took their guests on a bob ride. The excitement and laughter added a playful chapter to the photographs and film, setting the tone for a weekend with room for both emotion and fun.

Day Two: A Church Wedding in Sieghartskirchen

The following day, the celebration continued at the parish church of Sieghartskirchen. A trumpet ensemble accompanied the couple’s arrival, while Sina’s Nicole Spose gown, with its long train and veil, brought a striking silhouette to the wedding photographs.

Inside the church, the ceremony moved both the couple and their guests to tears. Having already spent the previous day with the family, we could follow this next part of the celebration with a growing familiarity with the people around them.

The wedding also marked a change of name for Andreas, who took Sina’s surname, Schmid. He described the decision as a gesture of love for her and their children, bringing a further personal meaning to the day.

A First Dance, Then Ollie Gabriel on Stage

Back at Schlosspark Mauerbach, the evening began with the couple’s first dance. Sina and Andreas had prepared their choreography with dance school owner Yvonne Rueff, making this another carefully considered part of the celebration.

Then Ollie Gabriel took to the stage. With songs including “Running Man” and “Something New,” his performance brought fresh energy to the party, and the dancing continued into the early morning.

Across the two days, the photographs and films move from a garden ceremony with the children to a church filled with emotion, then into the movement and sound of the evening. Each part belongs to the same family celebration, with a different rhythm of its own.

Sina and Andreas, thank you for inviting us to share the whole weekend with you and your family.
